Burleigh Head National Park
A wild headland in the middle of the Gold Coast: the 1.2 km Oceanview track (about 30 min one way) passes tumbled six-sided basalt columns to Echo Beach on Tallebudgera Creek, and you can return via the Rainforest circuit and Tumgun Lookout. Watch for dolphins, and humpback whales during their winter and spring migration.
