Ubirr Rock Art, Kakadu

One of Kakadu's main rock art galleries, with x-ray paintings of fish, waterfowl, wallabies and goannas, a contact-era figure in shirt and boots, a thylacine and creation ancestors such as the Rainbow Serpent. A Kakadu park pass is required; check the park's access report before driving, especially in the tropical summer.
