Dachstein Krippenstein: Giant Ice Cave & 5fingers
Cable cars from Obertraun climb the Dachstein Krippenstein to the Giant Ice Cave and Mammoth Cave and on to the 5fingers viewing platform in the Hallstatt-Dachstein World Heritage region. The caves and summer cable cars are seasonal; in winter the mountain switches to skiing, freeride and snowshoeing.
