Gastown & the Steam Clock

This historic quarter grew from a single tavern founded by John "Gassy Jack" Deighton and now has cobblestone streets and brick buildings, with boutique shops clustered within about six blocks. Don't miss the Steam Clock, built in 1977 and one of only a few in the world.
