Lake Louise is famous for its vivid turquoise water with the Victoria Glacier behind it; follow the lakeshore trail to the back of the lake for fewer crowds. In winter a rink lit every night lets you skate under the stars. Parking is very limited, so book a shuttle or tour or use transit.
