Mount Royal Park

Designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and inaugurated in 1876, the park on Montréal's mountain has the Kondiaronk Belvedere in front of the Chalet, with views of downtown and the St. Lawrence River. In winter there is skating on Beaver Lake, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and sliding.
