Trsat Castle & Petar Kružić Stairway
A hilltop castle with a spectacular view over the whole Kvarner bay, rebuilt in the 19th century as a family mausoleum and now home to a museum exhibition and gallery. Climb the 561 steps of the Petar Kružić Stairway from the city, and visit the nearby Shrine of Our Lady of Trsat, one of the oldest in Croatia.
