Arles Roman Amphitheatre

This Roman amphitheatre once held about 21,000 spectators and still hosts bullfights, concerts and shows; together with the Roman theatre and the Saint-Trophime cloister it is UNESCO-listed. Van Gogh painted the arena during his stay in Arles.
