Aachen Cathedral
Exploring the cathedral outside services is free: Monday to Thursday 11 am to 6 pm, Friday and Saturday to 7 pm, Sunday 1 to 5:45 pm. Charlemagne's royal throne and the Gothic choir hall can be seen only on a guided tour, and the Cathedral Treasury opens daily 10 am to 6 pm (Mondays until 2 pm).
