Heinzels Wintermärchen Christmas Market
More than 100 stalls fill Cologne's Alter Markt and Heumarkt, with a crafts lane of European artisans and food lanes of regional specialities. On the Heumarkt an open-air ice rink with straights over 100 metres loops around the equestrian statue, with ice stock sport too; open daily 11 am to 10 pm, and the Heumarkt continues into January after the Christmas break.
