Leipzig Christmas Market

A tradition dating back to the 15th century, with around 300 stalls on the Marktplatz in front of the Old Town Hall and across the historic centre. Open Sunday to Thursday 11 am to 9 pm and Friday and Saturday to 10 pm (last two days until 8 pm); children can visit the Wichtelwerkstatt workshop, and each year has its own market mug.
