Marksburg Castle

This hilltop castle above the Rhine can only be visited on a guided tour of about 50 minutes; adults pay €12 and children under 6 go free. In winter it opens daily 11 am to 4 pm with hourly tours (English tours on weekends at 1:30 pm) and closes over Christmas; in summer it opens 10 am to 5 pm with daily English tours.
