Cultural Exchange and Buddhist Art along the Silk Roads (Hong Kong Palace Museum)

A special exhibition in Gallery 8 of the Hong Kong Palace Museum with nearly 150 Buddhist masterpieces from the Guimet Museum in Paris and lenders on the Chinese Mainland, tracing Buddhist art across Afghanistan, China, Korea and Japan from the 1st to the 10th century. Sculptures sit alongside ivory carvings, glassware, gold and textiles.
