On Guia Hill stand a 17th-century fortress, a chapel whose frescoes blend Western and Chinese motifs, and the 1865 lighthouse, the first modern lighthouse on the Chinese coast. The lighthouse is viewed from outside only, and photography is not allowed inside the chapel.
