Heroes' Square & Millennium Monument

Built for the 1,000th anniversary of the Hungarian conquest, the Millennium Monument centres on a 36-metre column topped by Archangel Gabriel, ringed by statues of the seven chieftains on horseback. The Museum of Fine Arts and the Kunsthalle flank the square, with City Park just behind.
