Hungary's longest cave system lies beneath Budapest; the hourly one-hour guided tour covers 500 m of tall chasms, thermal-water formations and dripstones. It stays about 11°C year-round with 400+ steps and a ladder, so bring a sweater and sturdy shoes; visitors must be at least 5 years old and 115 cm tall.
