This hilltop border fortress rises above Lake Balaton and now houses an interactive exhibition: 3D animated films in the vaulted palace, a timeline and model in the rebuilt Benedictine Tower, and replica weapons you can hold. Shorter winter hours apply, with last entry 30 minutes before closing.
