Kawagoe Festival
The grand festival of Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine, with around 370 years of history and UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage status. Ornate floats topped with dolls roll through the old Koedo warehouse streets, and when floats meet they face off in lively music battles called hikkawase.
