Tsuboya Pottery Festival
A three-day market at Tsuboya Elementary School (10:00–17:00) where Tsuboya-yaki kilns from across Okinawa gather, so you can compare pieces and chat with the potters. In past years it has also featured a potters' speed contest (kaamii-suubu), a free wheel-throwing try-out and Okinawa soba served in Tsuboya-yaki bowls.
