Hakkoda Ropeway

A roughly 10-minute gondola ride up the Hakkoda Mountains to the summit park, where an easy boardwalk loop of 30 or 60 minutes winds through alpine wetlands; in winter the slopes are covered in snow monsters (rime-coated firs). Service stops in winds of 25 m/s or more.
