Kegon Falls

One of Japan's best-known waterfalls drops 97 m from Lake Chuzenji. An elevator in service since 1930 descends 100 m through the rock in about a minute to a viewing deck near the basin, where the huge columnar basalt walls beside the falls are also visible.
