Kinpusen-ji Zao-do Hall on Mount Yoshino
The head temple of Shugendo mountain asceticism, whose National Treasure main hall Zao-do dates from around 1592 and enshrines three hidden Zao Gongen statues, the central one over 7 m tall. You can join the morning service from 6:30 or the evening service from 4:30 pm.
