Nachi Falls & Kumano Nachi Taisha

Japan's iconic 133 m waterfall is itself worshipped as the deity of Hiro Shrine, and a viewing stage lets you face it up close. Climb the stone steps (about 15–20 minutes) to Kumano Nachi Taisha, with Seiganto-ji temple and its three-storied pagoda right next door.
