Okinawa Peace Memorial Park

Set on the Mabuni seaside cliffs at Okinawa's southern tip, where the Battle of Okinawa ended, the park's Cornerstone of Peace bears the names of more than 240,000 people who died, regardless of nationality. The Okinawa Prefectural Peace Memorial Museum tells the story through survivors' testimonies.
