Okunoshima Rabbit Island
About 15 minutes by boat from Tadanoumi Port, this car-free Seto Inland Sea island is home to around 600 friendly rabbits. The island also preserves remains of a wartime poison-gas factory and old fort batteries, a sobering side of its history worth learning about.
