Gaetbae Ferry to Abai Village

Passengers help pull this small cable ferry hand over hand across the channel of Sokcho Port to Abai Village, settled by displaced people from Hamgyeong Province during the Korean War. Try the village's Hamheung-style cold noodles and Abai sundae; the crossing costs only a few hundred won and pets are not allowed.
