Gyeongju / Cheomseongdae
Cheomseongdae Observatory
A 7th-century Silla stone observatory about 9 m tall, built from 365 stones stacked in 27 layers, and part of the UNESCO Gyeongju Historic Area. Admission is free and it stays open into the evening (until 21:00 in winter), two minutes on foot from the Daereungwon Tomb Complex main gate.
