Dosanseowon Confucian Academy (UNESCO)

The academy of Toegye Yi Hwang, one of Korea's most revered Confucian scholars, beside the river outside Andong. See the small Dosanseodang lecture hall he designed himself in 1561 and the later shrine compound, then follow the trail to the huge willow and the Sisadan stele.
