New Year's Eve Bell Ringing at Bosingak
Seoul's best-known way to welcome the new year: the bell at Bosingak Pavilion is struck 33 times at midnight, with pre-show performances and artwork around the site. Expect very large crowds and road closures; arrive early and dress for freezing temperatures (Jonggak Station on Line 1 is next to the pavilion).
