Jeonju / Hanok Village
Gyeonggijeon Shrine
A shrine founded in 1410 to hold the portrait of King Taejo, founder of the Joseon dynasty, with stone walls, old trees and a bamboo grove in the middle of Jeonju Hanok Village. Hanbok rental shops are nearby, and Jeondong Cathedral is across the road; admission is free on the last Wednesday of the month.
