Tongdosa Temple

A UNESCO World Heritage temple founded in 643 that enshrines genuine relics of the Buddha, with the Daeungjeon Hall, a gilt-bronze Vairocana Buddha and a Buddhist museum. The grounds are free and open 24 hours; the museum closes on Mondays, and a templestay program is offered.
