Porta de Santiago (A Famosa)

The surviving gate of the fortress the Portuguese built after taking Melaka in 1511, one of the oldest remnants of European architecture in Asia. Look above the gate for the VOC coat of arms the Dutch added after 1641, and for the Melaka trees planted in front.
