Arrowtown Gold Rush Village
A village founded in the Central Otago gold rush, with 1860s miners' cottages on Buckingham Street and restored huts at the Chinese settlement by the river. The Lakes District Museum hires out gold pans for panning in the Arrow River, and the street trees turn gold and red in autumn.
