Malapascua Thresher Shark Dive

Off Cebu's northern tip, Malapascua Island is reached by boat from Maya Port in Daanbantayan, about 4 to 5 hours by bus from Cebu City. Divers visit Monad Shoal, a cleaning station on the edge of a deep drop-off where thresher sharks come up; it is a deep dive best suited to certified divers.
