St. Mary's Basilica and the Veit Stoss Altarpiece

The Gothic basilica on the Main Market Square is known for its carved wooden altarpiece by Veit Stoss, whose panels are opened at 11:50 Monday to Saturday and 14:10 on Sundays and holidays. Tourist entry runs from 11:30 (Sundays from 14:00) to 18:00; the Bugle Tower is a separate ticket sold only on the day.
