Ostrów Tumski and Wrocław Cathedral

The oldest part of the city, with the Late Romanesque Church of St. Idzi and the Gothic cathedral rebuilt after 1945, home to 21 chapels and a silver altar from 1591. Entry to the cathedral is free; the tower viewpoint, reached by lift and stairs, needs a ticket.
