L'Albufera Boat Ride and Paella in El Palmar

A lagoon and rice-field natural park about 10 km from the city, said to be where paella was born; take a traditional boat on the lake, ideally at sunset, then eat paella in the village of El Palmar. EMT buses 24 (to El Palmar) and 25 run from central Valencia in under an hour and are free with the Valencia Tourist Card.
