Valencia's great spring festival: giant satirical monuments are set up across the city on the night of the Plantà, the 14:00 mascletà firecracker show booms in Plaza del Ayuntamiento, a flower offering builds a huge floral mantle for the Virgin, and the monuments are burned on the final night (the Cremà). It is very loud and crowded, so bring earplugs for children.
