Ride up from Alpnachstad on what the operator calls the world's steepest cogwheel railway, or from Kriens by panorama gondola and the 'Dragon Ride' aerial cableway; the Golden Round Trip combines these with a boat on Lake Lucerne. During the autumn maintenance period the gondolas and cable car stop and the cogwheel railway is the only way up, so check the operator's notices.
