Chihkan Tower

Tainan's oldest building, begun by the Dutch in 1652 as Fort Provintia, with Chinese-style pavilions and nine stone tablets carried on turtle-like bixi. It stays open into the evening, when the tower is lit up; parts may be fenced off for ongoing restoration.
