Caoling Historic Trail Silver Grass Festival
Hillsides of white silver grass sway in the northeast monsoon along the 8.5 km Caoling Historic Trail between Yuanwangkeng (New Taipei) and Dali (Yilan), passing two Qing-dynasty stone tablets including the Tiger Tablet. Weekend markets, tablet rubbing, guided walks and crafts are held during the festival.
