National Taiwan Museum

Taiwan's oldest museum, dating from the Japanese colonial era, stands in 228 Peace Park a short walk from Taipei Main Station. Its central hall of 32 Corinthian columns under a stained-glass skylight is a highlight; closed Mondays.
