Taiping Suspension Bridge (Taiping Cloud Ladder)

At 281 m long and 1,000 m above sea level, this is Taiwan's longest and highest sightseeing suspension bridge, with views of the Meishan 36 Bends, the Chiayi-Tainan Plain and, on good days, a sea of clouds. It is closed on Wednesdays; tickets can be bought online in advance or on site.
