Wiang Kum Kam Ancient City
A rediscovered city founded in 1286 under King Mengrai, southeast of central Chiang Mai along the Chiang Mai–Lamphun road. About twenty temple ruins have been uncovered, including Wat Chedi Liam, Wat Chang Kham and Wat Pu Pia; start at the Wiang Kum Kam Information Center.
