Laodicea, near Pamukkale

Founded by Antiochus II in the 3rd century BC and named after his wife Laodike, this city has two theatres, a monumental street and the Church of Laodicea, one of the seven churches named in the Book of Revelation. An audio guide is available, and a combined ticket with Hierapolis and its museum is sold.
