Antalya / Phaselis
Pine-shaded ruins of Phaselis by the sea
Founded in the 7th century BC on a small peninsula, this Lycian port city had three harbours linked by a wide paved street lined with Roman and Byzantine ruins. Pine trees shade much of the site, and you can also see the theatre, baths and an aqueduct that brought water from Mount Tahtalı before cooling off at the beach.
