Stirling Castle

One of Scotland's greatest stone castles, with the Great Hall, the refurbished Royal Palace where Mary, Queen of Scots spent her childhood, ramparts with views over Stirling and the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Museum. The castle car park is closed except for coaches and accessible parking, so walk up from the Old Town; booking online is cheaper.
