Green Island

A 12-hectare coral cay about 27 km off Cairns, protected as a national park within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and the only one of the Reef's coral cays with rainforest. Snorkel from the beach, ride a glass-bottom boat or follow the self-guided eco walk; the boat transfer takes about 45 minutes.
