Kuranda Scenic Railway

Heritage train climbing 37 km from Cairns to the rainforest village of Kuranda, crossing 55 bridges and 15 tunnels on the way up to 327 m, with a photo stop at Barron Falls. It runs twice a day; the operator asks you to be at the station 30 minutes before departure.
