Gomantong Caves

A ten-minute boardwalk leads into Simud Hitam, a vast cave where swiftlets nest and harvesters climb to collect edible bird's nests. Wear covered shoes for the guano floor, and stay until around 6pm to watch bats stream out as the swiftlets return.
